Begin by unveiling your Trezor hardware wallet. Ensure all components are present: the device itself, a USB cable, recovery seed cards, and a quick start guide.
Plug your Trezor device into your computer using the provided USB cable. Head to trezor.io/start in your web browser to initiate the setup process.
Trezor Bridge facilitates communication between your computer and the Trezor device. Follow the on-screen prompts on the Trezor website to download and install Trezor Bridge.
Once Trezor Bridge is installed, launch Trezor Wallet in your browser. Follow the instructions on the screen to create a new wallet, confirming actions on your Trezor device as prompted.
Trezor will generate a 24-word recovery seed. Write down this seed phrase on the provided recovery seed card. This phrase acts as a lifeline for recovering your wallet in case of loss or damage. Store it securely offline, avoiding any digital exposure or sharing.
After noting your recovery seed, Trezor will prompt you to confirm it by selecting the words in the correct sequence. This step ensures the accuracy of your recorded recovery seed.
